Submission Guidelines
You are invited to submit an abstract of no more than 300 words to be considered as a presenter. Submissions will be evaluated by a panel of peer-reviewers.
- Abstracts must demonstrate alignment and appropriateness to the conference.
- All sessions will be presented in-person at Champagne Sports Resort.
Please note there is no compensation or reimbursement for speakers other than what has been outlined above.
Special Issue
African Zoology
In keeping with the conference theme, a special issue of African Zoology will be published focusing on ‘extreme zoology’ with topics ranging from big data in zoology to conservation, urban ecology, and ecosystem resilience.
We encourage especially student delegates to submit their abstracts as an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the 2023 ZSSA Special Issue of African Zoology.
A workshop (for students) will also be organised to refine and prepare student papers for submission.
How It Works
There will be an oppurtunity for you to complete the EOI during the Abstract Submission on the official ZSSA Submission & Review Portal. The special issue editors will then review the abstracts and invite a selection of papers to be submitted.
We look forward to working with you and welcome your submission for your paper to be published in the 2023 ZSSA Special Issue of African Zoology.
